The Malaysian employer reserves its quota and applies to the Immigration Department for approval and visa issuance.

The application of worker is processed through FWCMS, Malaysia’s central foreign worker management system.

The documents are attested and Protector of Emigrants registration is completed on the Pakistan side.

Once a confirmed fit is found, the worker is issued a Visitor Pass (Temporary Employment), a work pass for foreign workers in Malaysia. This is commonly referred to as PLKS.
One point of clarification that is important: Malaysia uses the FOMEMA medical upon arrival, not the Gulf GAMCA or Wafid screening. Medical institutions are different, and Malaysia has its own way. The VP(TE) is valid for 12 months and is renewable every year, subject to policy limits on total employment.
